Magnetic drive canned pumps are applied to pumping corrosive, toxic or inflammable liquids, as well as liquids containing solid particles. Several magnets lead the pump in motion, the external magnet, located on the shaft, transmits the motion to the inner magnet, built into the impeller, which is hermetically isolated.
The impeller is not fitted to the pump shaft, therefore seals are eliminated, which prevents fluid leakage brought about by seals wear. The pump head consists of few components, thus maintenance is simplified. The standard construction materials used are polypropylene (PP) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).
