HORIZONTAL CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
Horizontal centrifugal pumps made in resin by Debem pumps are powered by an electric motor in direct drive (max. 3000 rpm) for the transfer and / or rapid emptying of fluid, with capacities from 6 to 75 m3 / h. Their particular shape with open impeller allows pumping of fluids, even with very dirty apparent viscosity of up to 500 cps (at 20 ° C) with possible suspended solids are small. They are available in two versions with different internal mechanical seal according to their use, TL (lip seal for use in polymer light work;) and TS (PTFE bellows seal rings made of silicon carbide and ceramics for use most difficult working with very dirty fluids).
Main advantages
- Run in PP, PVDF;
- Use suction;
- No welds;
- Mechanical seal lip or bellows seal;
- Can be used with very dirty fluids;
- Flow rate: from 6 to 75 m3 / h;
- Head: up to 38 mt.
- Unmatched ease of maintenance;
- Low cost of spare parts;
Description pump
Horizontal centrifugal pumps are made of a sturdy resin body pump and a lantern for mounting the electric motor and for the inspection of the mechanical seal. The pump shaft, which carries the open impeller is made inclusive of the electric motor shaft. On the back of the impeller is housed the mechanical strength of the tree.
A = electric motor

How it works
The impeller shaft and solidarity to the electric motor, mounted in direct contact, is put into rotation at a preset speed setting, due to centrifugal suction pipe and a central discharge pipe periphery.

Installation
MB Horizontal centrifugal pumps must only be installed with the axis disposed in horizontal position under the head. We foresee adequate mechanisms to prevent dry running and the formation of vortices and the possible aspiration of air. Horizontal centrifugal pumps must operate exclusively PUMP invasive dry run or in the presence of air bubbles cause damage to the mechanical seal.

Chemical compatibility
The type of fluid, the temperature and environment of use are the factors that influence to determine the appropriate choice of materials for the pump and its correct chemical compatibility. For example table is provided below on some of the substances most commonly used:
